move over monday!

Twins you ask?  Why yes, we are!

The best part about being a twin and living together is the pure fact that we have twice as many clothes, make-up, jewelry, and heels.   Everything is always 50% less because we share the purchase!  One of us will talk the other into a new dress, and like all couples that need balance, there are days when one will talk the other out of a new pair of heels, like these ones below.  It’s a great poise and we fear the day we get married, move out, and split up the closet…we believe we will be screwed.  But for now, we will just enjoy our 50% off buys and share our weekend highlights with you on these “Move over Mondays.”

We were just going to meet our older sister, but as we walked through Dillard’s, Kacie caught her eye on this spiky, dramatic shoe.  I think she said she heard her name being called from the designer.  Mind you, we didn’t go to Dillard’s with the intention to shop...well, for ourselves. But, of course, if Kacie and I see something we like, we can’t help but want to get a little closer, pick it up and feel it, and maybe even smell it.  I think I noticed Kacie putting the spikes up against her cheek while her eye lids slightly closed.  But the magnetic force that pulled Kacie’s eye to this looker was the originality of the shoe. We haven’t seen very many styles of this nature. Right away I pictured someone like Rihanna sporting this heel with a shredded pair of skinny jeans, or a sexy black fitted dress. Kacie was dying to try these on, but I knew that as soon as she did, she would purchase them. $200 for a pair of shoes is really not in our budget right now, so it was a bad idea to linger in that store any longer.  I mentioned getting a margarita and headed for the door. Kacie has not stopped talking about that gorgeous heel. I’m sure any day now, I will come home to a Dillard’s bag in my living room and I will know exactly what is in that bag.  I hope she waits for a sale.  I hope she gets them in white.

If I saw someone wearing those pumps I would say to myself "Wow, she is brave and confident". I don't ever take risks like that even though I know they are super super cute!
