Simple. Basic. A Perfect Fit.

As far back as I can remember I have always had a bit of an obsession with clothes. I was the first born, so inherently I was spoiled with endless outfits.  I look back at pictures and laugh at the fact that my mom always dressed me to the nines in knickers, cords, patent leather shoes and ruffled shirts.  Maybe that is where the infatuation began.  All through school I loved to be off for summer break, but loved to go back to school for the pure fact that I got to go shopping for new school clothes with my sister and brother.  I would be the first to find all the clothes I could buy and waited to see if my sister spent all of her allotted amount.  If she didn't, well then I would ask if I could spend the amount that she didn't. There was always something I needed.

Today, not much has changed besides the fact that I would do anything to have my mom take me school shopping again.  Every day I look on my favorite websites with a cup of coffee and fill up a shopping bag that I wish I could buy.  Some may call this a problem, but I look at it as work in a way.

This year, with the influx of vintage and retro clothing, has made my heart sing.  The ruffled shirts, polka dots and sweaters with lace and interesting necklines are right up my alley.  My style is pretty simple.  I love the basics.  I find myself always purchasing my staple colors...white, black, grey and navy blue.  I tend to save the other colors for the "one of a kind" item.

I have found the perfect tee in my opinion.  The Monrow Double Tissue V-neck Tee.  I love either the black or the white.  The double layer in the v-neck and the bottom hem makes me love this tee above the others.  You can wear it now with a cardigan and jeans and achieve the layered look and carry it over to spring and summer with shorts and skirts.  The price may scare you at first, but I think you would get so many different outfits from this one tee.

With that said, I am going to go to www.piperlime.com and fill up my shopping bag with one of each.  find the perfect tee here!
